Car Boot Sale at Bempton - Pictures - Directions

B.P. Markets operate successful and popular markets and car boot sales on the East Yorkshire coast from mid March till the end of October every year. Our popular market and carboot sale sites include the summer car boot sale site at Filey ( June till the end of September ) on a Wednesday and Friday, and the massive market and car boot site at Flamborough, near Danes Dyke. We start the season at our Bempton market and car boot site, just outside Bridlington.

You can find the site, situated by the Railway Station just outside Bempton.

There is ample parking on site - please do not park on the verges or local roads.

Directions from Scarborough : Take the main Scarborough to Bridlington road (A165), and drive towards Bridlington. At the new roundabout by the Dotral Pub, follow the directional signs to Bempton. Go through Bempton until you find a garage. Take the road next to the garage, and go past a church, and the village pond. Drive slowly up the hill, almost out of the village and you will see the Railway Station. Cross over the railway lines and you are at the car boot sale site. The entrance is on the top of the hill, past the exit. Please do not enter via the exit !

Directions from Bridlington : Take the Bempton Lane road until you see a turning for Short Lane. Follow this narrow road to the end. At the end follow the signs for Bempton along Jewson Lane. You will see the car boot sale site just near the top of the hill. The railway station is at the bottom the hill, just outside the village.
